From 3D Modeling to Immersive XR Experience: Crafting the iPhone Asset and More

During my time at Hyper Island, I embarked on an exciting assignment that showcased my expertise in 3D modeling, rendering, and texturing. Using software like Maya, Substance Painter, and Photoshop, I began by meticulously crafting a visually appealing phone asset. The focus was on achieving authenticity and a captivating design.My journey didn't stop there. I expanded into the realm of XR (Extended Reality) development, specifically using Unity. This marked a pivotal step in my personal and professional growth as I delved into the creation of immersive experiences.In the Unity environment, I explored the vast capabilities and leveraged the Unity Asset Store to import relevant assets. My goal was to transform a mere 3D iPhone model into an interactive and lifelike classroom environment.Within this immersive setting, I designed an engaging XR experience where users step into the shoes of a student receiving call from the program manager. Leveraging Unity's capabilities and the power of UI elements, I crafted a dynamic user interface for the phone. This interface seamlessly adapted to user interactions, providing the necessary functionalities.This project served as a profound learning experience, allowing me to gain valuable insights into Unity, C#, and the intricacies of setting up XR projects. A Journey to the Black HoleText

Nobel Lab was a cool team project we did for the Nobel Prize Museum. It celebrated Dr. Andrea Ghez, who won a Nobel Prize in 2020 for finding a black hole.I was a Developer in the team, and we created a galaxy scene. We also worked on making the player move realistically in the game and built a fun mini-game and an observatory scene.We used a tool called Unity, and a language called C# to make it. We kept everything organized with Github, Trello, and Miroboard.I learned a lot, especially about C# and how to work together as a team. We tested our project with real users and made it better based on their feedback.The best part was when we showed our project in the Nobel Prize Museum. People of all ages got excited and had fun with it. It was a great experience for us.

About me

My solo project aimed at transforming car driving training through immersive VR technology. I chose this topic with the goal of providing users with a dynamic and visual experience to train their muscle memory. Traditional driving lessons often rely on textbooks and theory, but the true value of muscle memory training comes when users encounter real-life scenarios. Just like learning about animal interactions in a book versus experiencing them in the wild, VR DriveXperience allows users to encounter and navigate the challenges and hazards of driving in a lifelike, virtual environment. This hands-on approach enables users to develop muscle memory and refine their driving skills as they face situations that mimic those encountered on the road.Step into VR DriveXperience and experience the difference – where muscle memory training meets real-world driving scenarios, all within a safe and immersive virtual world. Throughout this project, I've honed my expertise in Unity development and asset programming using C#.
